This year's Riponian Stages rally was the opening round of the 2025 Fuchs Lubricants Motorsport UK British Historic Rally Championship and took place on 9th February 2025.

​The 2026 rally will be held on the 7th & 8th February.

    The Riponian Rally runs in classic Yorkshire forests in early February.

Event Winners

From the first Riponian Rally, held as a road rally event in November 1969, the present-day event has evolved into a 45 mile stage rally event, using forest roads linked by closed roads. The winners of the 50th event were Matt Edwards and John Millington in Pete Smith's M-Sport Ford Fiesta R5+

Rally Stats

Over the 50 years the event has run, the Club has  had to cancel the rally five times, twice because of extreme weather conditions (in 1996 and 2020) and three times due to extreme circumstances, first the fuel crisis of 1974, then losing the venue in 2018 and finally the coronavirus pandemic in 2021.
