The Riponian Stages Rally will return to the Yorkshire forests on Sunday 28 February 2027, moving to a later date as part of an agreed date swap with the Andy’s Autos East Riding Stages Rally, which will take place on 13 and 14 February.

Ripon Motor Sport Club and Beverley & District Motor Club have worked closely together to agree the change. The two Yorkshire rallies are supported by many of the same marshals, officials and volunteers, and both organising teams recognise just how fortunate they are to have such an experienced and committed community behind their events. Working together on the 2027 calendar means those people have the opportunity to be part of both rallies, while two of Yorkshire’s leading motorsport events retain the valuable separation between their dates.

The change was prompted by an unusually early Easter in 2027, which moves the February half-term holiday a week earlier. The East Riding Stages Rally uses Bishop Burton College as its Service Area and needs to run during the college holiday, making an earlier date necessary. Rather than allow that to put the two events too close together, the clubs worked together and agreed to effectively swap their usual weekends.

Riponian Clerk of the Course Nick Dale said: “We’re very fortunate to have two fantastic rallies here in Yorkshire and an equally fantastic group of people who help make them happen. Many of our marshals and officials also support the East Riding Stages, and we’re hugely grateful for the time and commitment they give to both events.

“When the East Riding team needed to move their date, working together made complete sense. There’s a great relationship between the two rallies and we all want to do what is best for the events, for the people who support them and for rallying in Yorkshire.”

The rally is delighted to welcome back long-term sponsor KT Green, whose continued support has become an important part of the event. The organisers are hugely grateful for the company’s ongoing commitment to the rally and are pleased to have KT Green on board once again for 2026.

Based in Pool in Wharfedale, KT Green is a third-generation family-owned motor dealership which has been serving customers since 1952. One of the country’s longest-established Isuzu dealers, the company offers new and used vehicle sales alongside servicing, MOTs, repairs and aftersales, and has built a strong reputation across Yorkshire over more than seven decades in business.

“It’s fantastic to welcome KT Green back to the Riponian Stages,” said Clerk of the Course Nick Dale. “They have supported the rally for many years and that kind of long-term commitment means a great deal to us. We’re incredibly grateful to have such a well-established Yorkshire business continuing to get behind the event, and we look forward to working with the KT Green team again this year.”

With a new date in the diary, the continued backing of KT Green and another full day of Yorkshire forest rallying to look forward to, the stage is set for an exciting 2027 Riponian Stages. The club is looking forward to welcoming competitors, marshals, officials and spectators back to the forests on Sunday 28 February for another great day of rallying.
